At Bossov you get the real thing. No politics. No compromise. No teacher's pets. If you are willing to work, we will make you a dancer.

  • Andrei Bossov, trained at St. Petersburg's Vaganova Academy, a Principal with Kirov, a Choreographer for Kirov, and for the final twelve of his twenty years with Kirov, also a Teacher at the Vaganova Academy, our Ballet Master, knows every student and trains each personally.
  • Natalya Getman is a gifted teacher and a caring mentor.
  • Our classes are small and personal.

  • Our spring season is dedicated to finding jobs for our graduates. The record is testimony of success.
  • Only at Bossov is the whole person of the dancer a major concern. Ballet companies look for teamwork, dependability, integrity, and character. Bossov dancers graduate with these traits.
  • Our summer programs feature our "First Team Faculty", not summer help. You get Andrei, Natalya, Vladimir, and Anna. Each one will know you personally.
  • Our studios, dormitories, and dining facilities are self-contained on a single campus. See the dorm regulations.

  • Our performances are professional quality. Andrei Bossov's experience as a Ballet Director and Choreographer for the Kirov Ballet, and as a Teacher in St. Petersburg's Vaganova Academy, places the standard at a consistent degree of excellence. His avid fans in Bangor and Waterville make the experience of performing especially rewarding to dancers. They do not perform just for parents of other dancers — as in so many schools — but for an appreciative public.
